2. Third-Party Services

AI Guidance Feature

DeenNotes offers an optional AI guidance feature that provides Islamic spiritual insights. When you use this feature:

Your questions or prompts are sent to Google Gemini's API for processing
We do not store your AI conversations on our servers
Google Gemini processes this data according to their Privacy Policy
We recommend not sharing personally identifiable information in AI conversations

Apple App Store

If you make in-app purchases (premium subscription), the transaction is processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy practices are governed by their Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

Provide accurate prayer times based on your location
Display the correct Qibla direction
Send prayer time notifications (if enabled)
Provide AI-powered spiritual guidance (when requested)

Important:

Since your data is stored locally, if you uninstall the app or reset your device, your journal entries and prayer history will be permanently deleted. We recommend regularly backing up your device.
